Beehive frames play a pivotal role in supporting either beeswax or plastic foundation sheets for bees. This not only facilitates the effortless collection of honey, beeswax, and bee propolis directly from the hive frame but also contributes to the overall structural integrity of the beehive.
The construction of the beehive frame is strategically designed to secure a sheet of comb foundation, ensuring stability while bees create a finished comb. This rectangular structure is not only resilient but also capable of withstanding the challenges posed during transportation and honey extraction. Notably, the end bars are equipped with four drilled holes to accommodate horizontal wires, adding strength, rigidity, and ensuring the foundation’s centered placement within the frame.
