Details about Beehive Frame DEFR-1S
The frames serve to secure beeswax sheets or plastic foundation sheets for bees, allowing beekeepers to easily harvest honey, beeswax, and bee propolis directly from the hive frame.
The construction of the frame plays a fundamental role, holding a sheet of comb foundation in place while the bees draw out a finished comb. Despite this, it maintains a sufficiently sturdy rectangular structure to withstand the rigors of transportation and extraction. Typically, the end bars are equipped with four drilled holes to accommodate horizontal wires, providing additional strength, rigidity, and ensuring the foundation remains centered within the frame.
Each level box typically includes 10 frames. We offer a diverse range of hive frames, and customization options for both beehive and frame sizes are available, especially for larger quantities.
